kopyPasta does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.

Who we are

kopyPasta ("the app") is developed and published by Blackgem ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@blackgem.ee.

Data we collect

None.

We do not collect, receive, process, or have access to any personal information, usage data, analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or device information from your use of kopyPasta.

We have no servers that receive your data. We have no analytics SDK. We have no advertising network. We have no third-party trackers of any kind.

Data the app handles on your device

To function as a clipboard manager, kopyPasta reads and stores the content you copy on your device (text, links, snippets, and similar clipboard content). This information:

Is stored locally on your device in the app's private container.

May be synchronized between your own Apple devices using Apple iCloud, under your personal Apple ID, if you enable that option in Settings.

Is never transmitted to the developer or to any other third party.

Is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's iCloud infrastructure when sync is enabled. Apple's privacy policy governs that data while it is in iCloud: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

We have no ability to read, recover, or access your clipboard history, your iCloud-synced data, or anything else stored by the app on your device.

Sensitive content

kopyPasta includes on-device detection that attempts to filter sensitive content such as passwords and payment card numbers from your clipboard history. This detection runs entirely on your device. No clipboard content is sent anywhere for analysis.

Children's privacy

kopyPasta is not directed to children under 13. Because we do not collect any data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect data from children either.

Your rights

Because we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, export, or delete. You retain full control over the app's local data: deleting the app from your device removes all local clipboard history. To remove iCloud-synced data, sign in to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on any Apple device.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
